DIY Pupsicles and ice treats!

Pupsicles and other ice treats are a great way to keep your dog cool on hot summer days!
They are super easy to make and great fun to watch your pooch eat!

Today, we want to share with you 3 easy way to create refreshing treats for Australia's hot summer.

1- Frozen yogurt and peanut butter

Frozen treats- homemade recipe- Doggy grub

Ingredients: Yogurt, peanut butter, honey, banana.

Put yogurt (250ml), 2tbsp of peanut butter, 1tbs of honey and a banana into a blender and blend until smooth.

You can pour directly into ice trays or use chocolate molds, like we have done in the above picture, to make gorgeous looking treats.

Freeze overnight.

2- Chicken stock and bikkies

Frozen home made dog treats- Doggy Grub

Ingredients: Chicken or beef stock, any of your dog's favourite bicky.

These are probably the easiest frozen treats you'll ever make.

Prepare 500ml of stock, pour into ice tray and stick your dog's favourite biscuit in it.

Freeze overnight.

 3- Berry surprise

Frozen dog treats- Doggy Grub

Ingredients: Frozen berries (your choice of raspberry, blueberry or mix...), water.

Fill up ice cube trays with water and add one or two berries in each cube. 

Freeze overnight.
